In December 2009 the Dutch medical (VAL) and scientific (NVKC)
specialists in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine decided
to join forces by signing a partnership agreement. It has been
decided to operate under a common name and that all matters in the
field of science, quality management, training and education,
representation etc. will be dealt with in common effort.
